Medias do not talk that much about ACTA. National TV in France is totally quiet about our STOP ACTA protests. For sure, they have many advantages not to inform people about it. The Internet revolution which is a free, fast and (almost still) neutral way to share and spread the information is of course affecting archaic and powerful companies. Those same which base their business by selling information with old systems. One example are Major Labels, most of them do still want to use material supports such as CDs, DVDs while MP3 and MKV information supports are incontestably the future for storing medias. Some of you will notice that these two common examples are stereotyped, probably linked and classified into the piracy thematic, but this is the revolution of information storage and distribution.
Of course into our STOP ACTA protest the Internet neutrality and censorship problematic is only a small part of this multinational treaty. But as a future Telecommunication and Computer Security engineer, this is the main point against what I am fighting for. And I think every concerned and young people, part of the Internet generation, will be directly affected by all these restrictions and anti-evolution our Governments (meaning mainly old politicians who are totally out of this new age and revolution for humanity) are trying to impose to us.
My speech also refers to other laws in different part of the world such as, Hadopi, ACTA, SOPA, LOPSSI, PIPA. All these laws and multinational treaties are against the Internet neutrality and our Internet freedom.
Some of you might think my argumentation is maybe excessive and will argue that Governments are mainly doing this to push humanity in the right direction of a “safe” and “legal” Internet. But any evolution have its positive and negative points. I think keeping the Internet neutral and uncensored is much advantageous for us for this information revolution and for the international knowledge sharing system which is Internet.
One last point, I’ld like you to realize is that we are in a democratic era, nobody must have the right to decide which is best for humanity. We have the right and the duty to expose our point of view and never let a group of people decide for us, even if they are richer (Majors), stronger (Governments) or more powerful (Federal Agencies).
We, as a human unit, are part of our own world. We have the right to say NO, we must decide together which is best for our future.

I never weared their mask, but I like their ideas, and I support what they are actually fighting for.
